Lead Optical Engineer
You should have interest in developing new systems for FSO communications.
Essential Technical Skills
• Experience in optical hardware system development
• Experience with setting up optical test platforms
• Experience with optics simulation modeling (Zemax),
• Simulation experience with Python, basic familiarity with C++ also preferred
• Affinity with the fundamentals of telecommunication and free space optics concepts
Your responsibilities
• Designing, testing and integrating a Free Space Optics laser-based system
• Maintaining close cooperation with our industrialization partner
• Taking the lead on opto-mechanical design
• Performing experimental work
• Quickly process and analyse large data sets from variable sources, including data translation,
statistical analysis
• Documenting and reporting through written and/or graphical formats
