What you’ll do
Our unique systems are in various levels of development and we are looking for enthusiastic people to join our Tech team. We have a range of projects you can participate in, a selection of which is listed below:
System Engineer
- Responsible for defining the system requirements, architecture, design, testing, verification, validation, and deployment, as well as managing the system changes and performance.
- Eliciting, analyzing, and documenting system requirements and constraints.
- Developing and evaluating alternative system architectures.
- Creating and executing system test plans.
- Applying engineering principles and methods to design, integrate, and manage laser marking systems that consist of multiple components and subsystems.
- Developing, installing, operating and monitoring systems based on the needs of the consumer.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Coordinating with other engineers, project managers, vendors, and customers to ensure the success of the project.
- Updating and maintaining system documentation.
- Ensuring the successful integration and compatibility of the system across different domains and interfaces.
- This is an interdisciplinary role that provides a great deal of variety in a multidisciplinary field that covers the entire life cycle of a system, from conception to operation and maintenance.
You
- A strong foundation in engineering with a background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or mechatronics together with a comprehensive understanding of the interaction and dependencies between those.
- Possession of systems thinking to comprehend the system as a whole and its interactions.
- Analytical skills to evaluate and compare different system solutions and trade-offs.
- Technical skills to use various tools and methods to design, test, and manage systems.
- Knowledge of the basics of optics and willingness to learn beyond that.
- Having the interest to solve problems and to achieve optimal performance.
- Good communication skills to work in international and multidisciplinary teams, with different audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team to collaborate and coordinate with other engineers, project managers, vendors, and customers.
- Being interested in working at a fast moving startup with high ambitions.
