Role
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in creating value within our target markets and driving revenue growth. Given the dynamic nature of our startup environment, you’ll find yourself wearing multiple hats, including potential involvement in product management tasks.
Your collaboration will be closely aligned with our Chief Business Officer, as you work together to steer our business development efforts. If you’re a forward-thinking professional with a proven track record in international business development, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-level contacts with innovative companies and influencers that could benefit from our cutting-edge technology.
- Create value by aligning market needs with the features of our product portfolio.
- Generate and qualify new leads to expand our customer base.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate contracts to secure business partnerships.
- Acquire pilot, launching, and subsequent customers to drive market introduction and growth.
- Estimate and substantiate targets for revenue and customer traction.
- Foster long-lasting relationships with customers to ensure strong engagement and provide valuable feedback for continuous improvement.
- Initiate and participate in collaborations with key partners.
- Initiate projects based on business and use cases to expand our market reach.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align goals, needs, and deliverables for effective market communication.
- Participate in events, fairs, marketing campaigns, and other promotional activities.

Our ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has a Bachelor’s level education in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Gained a minimum of 10 years of international business development in a related B2B industry (e.g., chemicals, renewables).
- Preferably at an equipment supplier (OEM) in the process industry.
- Shows an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building new and existing business relationships.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills and is an effective networker.
- Has strong analytical skills to identify trends and make informed decisions.
- Has proven success in initiating and scaling new business.
- Is fluent in English, both spoken and written, to thrive in an international environment.
- Thrives in a dynamic and collaborative team environment, demonstrating a proactive and adaptable mindset.
