As Hardware Engineer at VitalWear you will be a member of our Engineering team and you will be responsible for designing, realizing, and validating VitalWear’s sensor solutions. Together with your colleagues and with VitalWear’s partners, you will work (a.o.) on developing the sensor layout design, on the integration of optical fibers into textile carriers, on enabling connections between system components and on the robustness and scalability of the VitalWear solution.
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct research to explore and refine chemical processes related to photocatalysis.
Design, synthesize and characterize new photocatalytic materials using advanced techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis.
Evaluate the performance of materials in degrading pollutants under light exposure through controlled experiments.
Optimize material compositions and structures to enhance their photocatalytic activity and overall efficiency.
Collaborate with external academic and industrial partners to advance research and application possibilities.
Ensure all research activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a hands-on engineer with the background of Applied Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or relevant background to contribute to the Infitiv sensor fabrication and development. The R&D Engineer will support, develop and execute research and development plans to fabricate and improve the gas sensor based on nanostructures.
