Innoflex: Nanotechnologist

Nanotechnologist – Photocatalytic Materials: Create the material that fuels our innovation

About InnoFlex: InnoFlex is a climate tech startup, developing systems to tackle pollution on an industrial scale. Our core technology, based on photocatalytic processes, can break down various pollutants using little energy. We serve clients from different industries such as agriculture and semiconductor. Advancing research in nanomaterials is at the core of our company. Therefore, we are seeking a skilled Nanotechnologist to join our team.

The Role: As a Nanotechnologist, you will play an essential role in the research and development of advanced photocatalytic materials. You have expertise in chemistry, photocatalysis or similar fields and apply this knowledge to create materials that can harness light energy to promote chemical reactions and effectively break down pollutants. You will develop samples with high efficiency and then translate these into a production process using chemical deposition techniques.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research to explore and refine chemical processes related to photocatalysis.
  • Design, synthesize and characterize new photocatalytic materials using advanced techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry, and thermal analysis.
  • Evaluate the performance of materials in degrading pollutants under light exposure through controlled experiments.
  • Optimize material compositions and structures to enhance their photocatalytic activity and overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external academic and industrial partners to advance research and application possibilities.
  • Ensure all research activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Advanced degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field; Postdoc/PhD preferred
  • Experience in designing, synthesizing, and characterizing chemical materials.
  • Familiarity with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques, such as spectroscopy, chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis.
  • Knowledge of pollution control technologies is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving, research methodology, and team collaboration skills.

InnoFlex believes in the strength of a diverse workforce and welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the above qualifications but are enthusiastic about contributing to our mission. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.

Why Join InnoFlex? Joining us means being part of a purpose-driven team that believes in making a tangible impact on the environment. We provide a space for innovation, personal growth, and the opportunity to lead in the creation of sustainable technologies. Our culture is built on collaboration, respect, and a shared vision for a cleaner planet.

How to Apply: Are you ready to apply your skills and make a significant environmental impact? Send your CV and motivation letter to Kevin Lagarde jobs@innoflexbv.com, with the subject line “Nanotechnologist Application – [Your Name]”.
